When I first saw this headline, I thought the article was going to criticize Katie and Tom Cruise for not allowing their young daughter to play dress up or experiment a little with Mommy's makeup because it was against their Christian Scientist religion. Regarding the prior comment: Actually the Cruz's are members of the Church of Scientology They are not Christian Scientists. Christian Science is a Bible based Christian religion founded by Mary Baker Eddy and based on the teachings and demonstration of healing that Jesus performed. Also there is nothing in Christian Science that would discourage or prevent anyone from dressing any way they please whether they are adult or child. What a Christian Scientist wears for clothing and makeup are totally up to each individual the church does not dictate.

It's not "their Christian Scientist religion." They are Scientologists. There is NO connection with Christian Science.
